Gemini CLI
Add Glesso to ~/.gemini/settings.json (httpUrl is Gemini's Streamable HTTP setting):
{ "mcpServers": { "glesso": { "httpUrl": "https://mcp.glesso.com/mcp" } } }Start gemini and sign in. Your browser opens Glesso: check the account and click Allow.
/mcp auth glesso
If it doesn't work
- Run /mcp list to see each server's status. Gemini CLI doesn't show MCP errors on its own.
- Sign-in needs a browser on the same machine. Over SSH or in a container, use an API key: add "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer mmk_your_key" } to the glesso entry.
- Keep underscores out of the server name.
- Sign-in fails with invalid_client? Remove the server from the app and add it again.
New to Glesso?
Create an account and connect a service first. Onboarding then shows this guide beside a live check that turns green at your app's first tool call.
