VS Code

1. Click Add to VS Code, or add this to .vscode/mcp.json (run MCP: Open User Configuration to add it for every workspace):

2. Start the server (Start above its entry, or MCP: List Servers) and let it sign in. Your browser opens Glesso: check the account and click Allow.

3. Open Copilot Chat in Agent mode. Glesso's tools are under Configure Tools.

Good to know

• These apps limit how many tools they load. Turn on fewer services, or wait for per-client tool selection.
• VS Code sends at most 128 tools in one chat request. Pick fewer under Configure Tools.

If it doesn't work

• MCP: List Servers → glesso → Show Output shows the log.
• Sign-in fails with invalid_client? Run Authentication: Remove Dynamic Authentication Providers, then start the server again.
